Swansea College of Art at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David is the oldest art college in Wales with one of the most diverse portfolios of courses in the UK. Since it first opened its doors in 1853 the College has been at the forefront of developments in the visual arts, design & applied arts, media arts and performing arts. For almost 165 years Swansea College of Art has drawn inspiration from two worlds, modern industrial city on one side and the rugged beauty of the Gower peninsular on the other. It’s the fluid and dynamic mixing of the two that has energised generations of students and academics. Today the College delivers BA, MA and PhD programmes and collaborates with UK and international partners to deliver art and design research projects.
